Vatche Cabayan, M.D.

 

Ernest Cheng, D.O.

Dr. Cheng completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He received post-graduate training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rush University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, followed by fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants. He joined Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants as an associate in 2007. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Cheng specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of painful musculoskeletal and spinal disorders. He holds additional expertise in Interventional Pain Management, Sports Medicine and Electrodiagnosis (EMG/NCV), and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Sports Performance Coach. He is an active member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American College of Sports Medicine and National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dr. Eppley is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Qualified Medical Examiner, who has specialized in injuries to the shoulder and knee since 1990. He is the primary orthopaedic surgeon for the University of California at Berkeley athletic teams, including sideline coverage and travel with the Cal football team for many years.  Dr. Eppley is the Chief of Orthopedics for the Cal Student Health Service and Chief of Orthopedics for Sports Medicine at Cal. He is a nationally recognized leader in shoulder and knee surgery. Dr. Eppley has lectured, published and instructed many surgical teaching laboratories nationally.

Dr. Eppley performs arthroscopic and open surgeries of the shoulder and knee, including ACL reconstruction, meniscus repairs, microfracture, osteochondral grafts, tibial tubercle osteotomy, lateral release, Bankart repairs, rotator cuff tendon repairs, AC repairs, open reduction internal fixation of the clavicle and humerus, partial replacement of the knee and shoulder, total shoulder replacement, as well as resurfacing of the humeral head and reverse shoulder replacement.

Dr. Jamasbi is a graduate of The Maryland School of Medicine and previously held a position as Assistant Clinical Professor at Stanford Medical Center. He is a member of the International Associates for the Study of Pain, American Pain Society and the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology with added qualification on Pain Management and a member of The American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Jamasbi is co-founder of the Northern California Functional Restoration Medical Group (2004-2005), as well as co-founder of the Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group (PRC), in Oakland, CA from 1995 to present. Dr. Jamasbi specializes in the treatment of chronic and sub-acute pain.

 

Timothy Lo, M.D.

Dr. Lo is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed his residency in Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center . He completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School and is trained in interventional pain procedures. He is board certified in Neurology and performs electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS). He received a Masters in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley and is a medically-trained acupuncturist. He is a member of the American Pain Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, American Academy of Neurology, and the American Headache Society. He joined the Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group in Oakland, CA in July 2007.

Dr. Morley is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine and received postgraduate training as a Fellow in Pain Management at the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine . He is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain, American Pain Society, and the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Morley received a Certificate of Recognition for Support of Hospice in May 1998 from the California State Senate, and is certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Morley has been in private practice since 1995 in the East Bay . Dr. Morley is co-founder of the Northern California Functional Restoration Medical Group, as well as co-owner of the Pain and Rehabilitative Consultants Medical Group (PRC) in Oakland, CA from 1995 to present.

Dr. Renbaum received his education at Johns Hopkins University and graduated from medical school at the University of Maryland in 1968. He was Board Certified in Orthopedic surgery in 1974 after a residency at combined program at the U.S. Public Health Service and Tulane University. He then went into private practice in San Francisco. He has extensive experience in the Workers' Compensation arena both in treating and evaluating patients.

She actively involves her patient in decision making process for their medical care through science-based medicine. She actively utilizes evidence-based functional outcome approach in pain management with her advanced Interventional Pain Management skills in clinical and surgical settings. Dr. Ryan is board certified at the specialty of physical medicine & rehabilitation and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (DABPMR) and Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (FAAPMR).

Dr. Zwahlen graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah, followed by Medical School at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas.  He completed his  Residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York and his Fellowship at The Sports Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Medicine Associates.

He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Association, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the California Medical Association.

Dr. Zwahlen specializes in the treatment of general orthopedics; trauma, fractures, arthritis, tendonitis. This includes arthroscopic and open surgery for the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee and ankle. He also performs total joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder.

Dr. Zwahlen is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Total Joint Replacement. He was an Assistant Team Physician for the San Francsico 49ers and Stanford University. He was Head Team Physician at De Anza College, Physician for the San Jose Ballet and Volunteer Clinical Faculty for the U.C. Davis Medical Center. He now, is actively involved as a consultant orthopedist for St. Mary's College.
